**** Il Presidente Dr. Mario Beschi spiega l'idea di realizzare l'Associazione:
<<Abbiamo fondato l' Associazione degli Amici del Museo internazionale della Croce Rossa perché ci sembrava che continuare a stare con le mani in mano, e magari a criticare, fosse la posizione più facile; perché volevamo attivare un'iniziativa che cercasse di muovere le acque, intraprendendo così una sfida più impegnativa; perché volevamo dimostrare che c’è una via concreta, la via del "si può".
Qualche passo lo abbiamo fatto, qualche ristrutturazione e' stata realizzata. Ma abbiamo bisogno anche del sostegno di chi crede nella Croce Rossa, nei suoi valori, nei suoi volontari, che sono il vero ed unico motore dei comitati territoriali.
Nella pagina è a disposizione lo Statuto di questa nuova Istituzione e chiediamo alle persone che ci vogliono accompagnare nell’opera di sostegno al Museo, di condividere con noi, dalla terra che ha fatto nascere in Henry Dunant questa straordinaria idea, le passioni, le speranze di una voglia di fare che non ha tempo e spazio.

«We founded the Association of Friends of the International Red Cross Museum because we felt that continuing to just sit around, and perhaps criticize, was the easiest option; because we wanted to launch an initiative that would stir things up, and thus to embark on a more demanding challenge; because we wanted to show that there is a concrete way to go, the way of “it can happen”.
We have already taken some steps, some renovation and reorganization have already been carried out. But we also need the support of those who believe in the Red Cross, in its values, in its volunteers, who are the real and only engine of territorial committees.
On this page you can find the Statute of this new association and we ask those that wish to accompany us in our project to support the Museum, to share with us, from the land in which Henry Dunant conceived this extraordinary idea, the passions and the hopes of this “willingness to do” which transcends time and space.
We ask those who read us to become a FRIEND of the International Red Cross Museum of Castiglione.»
