The event was born in May 1992. It is a torch procession on the road which joins Solferino with Castiglione, thereby joining, ideally, these two places both historical and fundamental for the birth of the International Movement. Today, years later, an ever growing number of people coming from all over the world, participate at the meeting , witnessing with their presence the will that this manifestation continues.
The fact that all this takes place in the very sites where historical
events gave rise to the birth of the idea makes the event unique.
The energy produced by gathering togheter under the same flag, by believing in the same Emblem,
gives us the energy to be able to stay and continue our humanitarian gesture towards those in need
